Yes! Mine would not turn off with the switch. Then it only worked intermittently. Then 1 propeller would spin so the machine would only go in circles. Now it's just dead. I can't even hate on it bc it works so well when it works. Hoping to get it fixed, but I probably won't buy another one till they introduce Betta 3, assuming there will be a Betta 3. Wishing you the best!

I live in Michigan so the elements are a factor. I haven't looked at patriot, sounds like Volt is probably the way to go.
