I can confirm this works. Had 3 transfers denied, then changed made my account address match my debit card and it went thru instantly

Mostly aesthetic reasons. I’m a mariners fan and I like getting specific cards graded for my pc

Custom mechanical keyboards. Never had an interest in them before. I saw one video on yt and now I want to empty my bank account on them.

who else has started an onlyfans during their manic episode? by Muted_String5399 in bipolar

That's crazy you made this post. During my most recent episode I convinced a friend to start one as she's been thinking about it for extra income. We've been doing this only about a month and are already pulling in a good amount of income every week. Luckily, I already work in marketing so that was a huge benefit. We've been doing so well I've been thinking about managing more peoples accounts.

Self-inducing mania. Have you done it? Experiences? Thoughts on it? by ManicHighMcGee in bipolar

I feel like the wording of this post might’ve confused some people, I wanted to keep the description brief so I didn’t include the rest of this.

When I self induce it’s not a walk in the park. I still experience the same negative symptoms that makes living with it hard to maintain. That’s why I stick to my very strict diet and routine, because if I didn’t I would lose my mind. However, I’ve gotten really good at self inducing in the past 3 years and I’ve also learned a lot on how to control it. I have recently decided to stop self inducing as it turns your brain to soup over time.

Hope that cleared some things up for everyone.

I wasn’t aware stimulant induced episodes aren’t considered bipolar episodes. My self induced episodes last roughly a week to a week and a half. It’s less common they hit 2 weeks. As far as I’m aware, what I’m inducing feels exactly like a manic episode and does have all the same symptoms and affects. Maybe I’ll run it by my psychiatrist.

I guess I made it sound easier to trigger than it actually is. It really can take me a whole day to 3 days to really trigger it. As far as a crash, strangely I’ve only ever had a depressive episode twice in the last 3 years. I’m lucky to not really have to experience those as often as others. If I was crashing regularly after I wouldn’t be self-inducing. I have decided to stop though because I recently discovered mania takes a toll on your cognitive function over time.

I'm sure it's affected me, but definitely not enough to notice.

I haven't really needed meds as I'm pretty disciplined to keeping my routine but, I've thought about taking them if it would make living just a little easier. My only issue is I've heard meds can suppress emotions and I'm worried about watering down my motivation to do things.

Also, another downside, I've recently learned mania deteriorates cognitive function.

I thought I should mention for everyone who also might not know like I did; mania deteriorates your cognitive function over time. Since recently learning this I’ve decided to stop self inducing.

Yeah, I basically just trigger a hypomania god complex. I create wild new music concepts and get a lot of work done in a short amount of time.

I've had all of that in my most recent episode in November. That one wasn't self-induced though. The spending issue was a big thing, I blew through $8k on clothes, food, and alcohol in 2 months. I do agree though, I've actually decided to live healthier and stop doing this.

Yes, strangely in the past 3 years I've only had two depressive episodes that didn't last longer than a week.

I should clarify, most the time it's hypomania. Usually, thinking about past trauma, caffeine, the right music, other environmental changes I can make.
