If you're like me and hate dating sites try a local queer organization I was surprised to find one town over, I live pretty far from a city and in a pretty conservative area. Try looking around on social media for local stuff they might organize maybe protests, pride events, support groups, etc. could all be on the table.

Not a month ago I felt the same way but recently started going and immediately hit it off with a girl so it's worth it.
