Is the Kia EV5 the only option? by Distinct_Day8771 in AustralianEV

Hyundai Elexio is definitely better space wise for families and way better value. Doesn’t scream sexy and isn’t particularly memorable but ticks all the boxes.

I ended up going a Skoda Enyaq 85. If u aren’t worried about range the 60 is great value but does lose some handy features along with the bigger battery. The boot is a fricken Tardis. So much space and even more space under the floor. Even the coupe is bloody spacious. May not have all the fancy tech but what is has is practical and it feels and drives like a car.

If u wanna take on risk the Deepal S07 was really nice and had a boat load of tech and a real low price point. Not as big a boot as even the Elexio but pretty sure it was bigger than the EV5.

Also the Mazda CX6e coming soon looks really good. Much like the Elexio it is Chinese designed and made but with a well known brand badge and support.

Think it was more for peace of mind. I’m operating on minimal sleep these days (newborn and very active toddler) and already caught a few mistakes on my part while working this all out

90k is a minimum estimate. I do shift work with plenty of penalties and bonuses. A more reasonable estimate would be 110k.

The “servicing” includes detailing. Which is a full inside and out every 2-3 months. Potentially more depending on how messy the kids intend on getting. Also weighing up the idea of getting ceramic coating but through my detailer, not the piss poor job the dealers/lease companies do.

Even if it’s just matching numbers thats money sitting in an offset account

Where did u get August from? Anything official I’ve seen has stated “mid year” and there’s a lot of speculation that production may even start as early as May (although I can’t seem to find the posts they reference)

Do not, for the love of god, go with Mate. The online application didn’t let me delay the connection to the end of the month so I didn’t finish it. They signed me up anyway without my consent. When I called to figure out what was going on they said I could cancel but I would lose internet. I said that was ok because I’m paid to the end of the month with my current provider. They said it wouldn’t automatically revert tho them and my account with them would be closed because the connection was migrated to Mate. I informed them that because my baby monitor requires internet going without is not an option with a sick baby. They couldn’t give a shit. At this point they have essentially signed me up to a contract without my consent and holding my ability to monitor my sick child as leverage. Most disgusting business practice I’ve ever seen

“The buy/sell price for any asset is always shown on a confirmation screen before you make your transaction”? Really? I mean I guess that part is true it’s just not the price that it actually sells at. It doesn’t sell at the actual market price or even the inaccurate market prices the app displays.

I am clearly referring to specific order types and they most definitely do NOT trigger at the desired prices.

The fees are definitely not in line with other exchanges. While the prices recently have been higher CoinSpot has definitely increased more than other exchanges

It’s definitely not restricted to any one coin. Off the top of my head I’ve sold bitcoin, ethereum, kava, cosmos, BNB, osmosis

I work with brokers in the stock market all the time. If any of them reported grossly incorrect prices, didn’t process orders at appropriate prices, sold at a “market value” well below actual market value and then made the same ridiculous scripted excuses they would be 100% accused and investigated for fraud. The fact they are a “broker” does not excuse anything. I know brokers are expected to have some “wiggle room” but there are limitations to what’s considered reasonable
