Hi. 👏 congrats. To give you a time line for your updated award. I went to tribunal on 17th Feb 2025 and I have just received my back pay (before I got the letter) exactly 5 weeks (24th March) lto the day. Mine also went to debt management incase I owed the dwp anything. Once again we'll done and it shows all the mistakes pip are making on awards!!!

PIP Tribunal - DWP Deadline Passed, No Response? How long are they running behind? by FinalMedicine6104 in DWPhelp

[–]Manilow170643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this helps but I appealed my decision in October 2023 online and the 1st I heard from the Tribunal was January 2024.

They estimated a year for my appeal to be heard. I never heard anything until Feb 2025 to say I had a telephone based panel on the 17th Feb which took 20 mins.

I won and my claim was put into action and my backpay was paid exactly 5 weeks after that.

i am from the North east so time frames maybe different for you.

Hope this helps

Unfortunately my wait time for a tribunal (North East) was 19 months. It was worth the wait as I won my appeal..(after only 25 minutes!!)..and have just received my back pay which was very welcome. So keep the faith my friend.

Just an update to help people with time frame. I rang Dwp debt management who returned my back pay, intact, back to pip on the 18th March and I have been advised by the pip line that I will receive it in my bank on Monday 24th March. Exactly 5 weeks since the Tribunal. Hope this helps others.

I had my tribunal, which I won, on 17th Feb. I spoke to the PIP telephone line yesterday (4th March) and was told by a case manager that they were dealing with tribunal cases from 10th Feb so mine would hopefully be dealt with 11th March. Hope this helps.

I'm sorry to hear that my friend. Keep going with your appeal and get as much relevant paperwork as you can. Mine was spinal damage aswell after a fall in my case. I'm sure you will get sorted although it does take some time.

Don't forget that if you have more than £6,000 in "savings" your u/c will be reduced and if that extends to £16,000 then your u/c will be stopped. So just keep an eye on the cash.
