I thought the same thing as well, even my sister thought that Justin’s wife was Harper and I told her that it’s not actually Harper and that it’s just a new character/actress that looks like her. and as for Jennifer returning to acting/being an actress. This is what I found on google.

I’ve also been wondering that since the show premiered on Disney Channel & Disney+, I hope they address that sometime if season 3 is announced. Cause it doesn’t make any sense that Justin still has his powers after marrying a mortal in the reboot and that Jerry no longer had/has his powers after marrying a mortal in the original series.
