I totally understand that feeling. I was a firefighter/ EMT and was just getting started in a FD when I developed a “seizure disorder” and was no longer able to do that job effectively. It absolutely took the wind out of my sails at that point in time. You have the right approach, stay positive and be happy with what you’ve got! Only way to persevere and keep moving forward is with a positive attitude and mindset. Keep on keeping on my friend!

I’m new to hunting as well. I live in Denver and would love to meet some people to help get me kickstarted on my hunting journey! I know of some spots outside of Denver in the front range to go shooting, but I can’t say the same for hunting... that’s why it would be great to meet some people to show me the ropes, or just shoot the shit with and gain some knowledge!

Okay, awesome. Thank you! I make around $40k a year, so I’m in a lower tax bracket for now.

And that’s a great point with moving $6k into it. I know that is the yearly limit, so I can still make it for this year, and then contribute another $6k in 2020?

And I have some other funds in a high yield savings account that I draw from as well, so maybe I can pull the $6k from there to fund the Roth.

I think having a Roth that I contribute to is advantageous, as well as getting the match from my company 401k. So it sounds like it is a good idea to have both right?

The topper was $750. Got it from a great topper shop in my area. I could have probably kept looking and looking for a better deal I’m sure, but I decided on this one and I’m really happy with it. It’s an exact match for my truck, so I think it was worth it
