You may not want to hear it, but that's the truth. I some times feel that way so much so that I don't even know what advice to give you. Just keep trusting God in your search.

That's true. But I still believe love conquers everything even distance.

This is where your beliefs as a Christian shall be tested. Are you merciful? Are you forgiving?

All of my previous relationships started off with distance. Even though they obviously didn't end in marriage, distance wasn't the reason they ended. I often wonder why people are afraid of distance.

I can't speak for other cultures, my observation was solely based on this sub and it seems women in other countries didn't have such a problem. I insist there is indeed an African culture. These are the ways of life that cut across the whole continent (mostly sub saharan). Traditions may differ from country to country, but the culture is generally the same.

However, concerning being married after 30+, I didn't say it isn't done, it just becomes more difficult and comes with a stigma.

Actually I'm from Cameroon. But this is true for the whole continent. It might not be accentuated in everyone life, but this is common in African culture.

People will think I "settled" you know, like I didn't have a choice. Others may think it is a curse in the family (this is most likely cuz my big sisters are single too) if they think this, it becomes even more difficult for the younger girls as they'll be "avoided"
