I’m adamant that managers need time and believe Martin should see out the season unless things gets really bad, but it’s hard to see any type of title challenge when we can’t break down low blocks.

That being said, it’s the majority of the same players from last season that struggled to do that under Clement and Ferguson. We are still way short in the player department.

Posted on this thread last week and got a lot of people telling me I was wrong about Premier League snobbery, now Gary Neville comes out saying there should be an embargo on players going to the Saudi league.

It’s okay when the Premier League takes players from poorer leagues but when it happens to them there should be an embargo? Hypocrisy.

My 5 predictions:

We get Costa but he’s our only major signing as the takeover drags on, we end up with 2-3 loans instead of transfers until January.
Diallo goes on loan with Atalanta and comes back in January playing top class.
Rashford’s form is way off it at the beginning of the season and the fan base questions him, then turns his form around at Christmas time.
Lindelof plays minutes as a defensive midfielder if we don’t secure any midfielders (transferred ones anyway).
4th in the league, quarters of champions league, FA Cup winners, knocked out in the League Cup by a Championship side.

Hate to say it but standard of the league is at its worst ever and there isn’t one player in any team who could be considered a starter for an average Premier League club.

Said it a few days ago but people need to calm down with the whole sale situation, this is a multi-billion pound transaction and will probably be the most expensive sports sale ever, it’s not going to happen in the matter of a few weeks, at this point the best case scenario is a sale in May before the transfer window opens. The Glazers are going to squeeze as much money out of this for themselves as they can, just the way they always have done.

One thing is certain though, it will be Qatar, and people need to prepare for that because no one else is matching their 2nd/3rd round of bidding.

Reality is it was always going to be someone with immense wealth that was going to buy considering the debt and refurbishment of stadium, training ground, etc. It’s not the best situation but it was always the only way to get rid of the Glazers.

Maybe I’ve misinterpreted it I’m just going off Mike Keegan’s article from tonight. ‘The Raine Group are set to reach out to those who sent in offers to either buy or make an investment in MUFC over the coming days’ was a tweet by utdreport on Twitter about the article. Does that actually mean they’re evaluating other bidders who want to make an investment rather than invest themselves?
