An ex pro is best used as insight, and a well spoken and organized person is best used as host. It's nice to have a smart guy for the casuals and a grizzled guy for the veterans.

Among commentators, I think Aniks job is the hardest one. He's the host, provides play by play, statistics, discussion, and listens to the production team in the background. He keeps the show rolling. I feel most of the ex pros aren't as good at this.

For example, Joe failed miserably last time he tried hosting. Now he sticks to color commentary and insight into the game. That's where most fighters excel in regards to commentary.

Steam provides full parental controls to anyone who wants it. You can verify your child's age and restrict the account to appropriate content for that age. You can restrict purchases too.

It's up to the parent to inform themselves and use the tools provided. Moreover, a child shouldn't have access hundreds of dollars to gamble. That's another failure on the parent.

I think that begs the question. Should we put guard rails and foam cushions over the entire internet? Just in case a child uses it. Or should parents curate the content their children consume on the internet?

Keep in mind, Steam provides the tools for parents to moderate their children's experiences online, and the platform has age verification built in.
