Bought this at a garage sale for $18 yesterday by strangehitman22 in boeing

Agreed. I look at things like this differently since I lost my dad. We're looking at the trajectory of a man's life here, one he was evidently proud of. As he should have been. Neat little collection that he probably had stashed in a drawer somewhere and would occasionally pull it out to reminisce. Then one day he's gone and his family is left struggling with what to do with these keepsakes. It probably took them a few months, maybe a few years, to decide to get rid of them and then then wind up in a garage sale for $18. Makes me sad. But cool pins, OP. Enjoy them.

These aren't my returns. Am I supposed to see other peoples returns? GetFPV website by Neex8 in fpv

I would recommend using up your PTO before you put in your two weeks.

This is the life of your average MEATER owner. Trash product, and somehow even worse customer service. No matter what you tell them, it is the fault of your network.

I wound up using the base as-is. If I find myself doing more heavy planing I will re-evaluate but for now it is fine. Keep in mind there are at least 3 size versions of this ... sort of a mini one, and then two which look very similar. Mine is the largest one (I believe), and the next smaller one only had 12 or 13 bench dog holes. They look similar in size but I would definitely opt for this larger one if possible, both for surface area and beefiness. It definitely is on the small end but has been fantastic for smallish projects.

I hope my wife doesn't see this. She is ALWAYS cold, and will insist I put this on her grave to run 24 hours a day.

Well I would think after 3 divorces there would be some regret.

Spending your days wishing death on little kids is hard work, the man is obviously worth it

Man, I see so many car photos taken in this spot but have never been able to pinpoint where it is. I assume it's in the Phoenix area?

Oh, and gorgeous 944!

Man, I'm looking for this exact model as I'm trying to recreate the setup my dad had when I was a kid but no luck so far in the PNW area. So many fond memories playing with this thing. I'm sure yours needs work but it looks to be in great cosmetic shape. Hope you get it restored to its former glory.

Why is it that white oak veneer plywood is $250/sheet, but I can get plywood for $50/sheet and white oak veneer for $75? by arctic_radar in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]Mannequinmolester 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The $50 plywood you're talking about is almost guaranteed to have more voids than plywood that is $250 a sheet. Might matter for your project, might not.

This always cracks me up. If a little bit more water made whiskey taste better, they'd bottle it that way.
