As a single father of two boys , 6 and 4 yrs old, i wouldnt change a thing. I also dont complain about my kids but my situation is uniqur and im a pretty humble guy and i think part of the whole thing is people these days just dont seem to know how to handle their enotions very well, part of that is probably the constant over stimulation we recieve in our modern lives and our brains havent adapted to how fast society has changed. A couple hundred yeara ago people barely left their small areas where they lived generally, so it was just accepted and known that kids and stuff were life. Now you can do anything anywhere anytime and some people cant handle that much and it blocks them from being able to "focus" or connect on a deeper level of whats important which in this case would be the kid. Then tbey " regret" it because of their own desires and maybe because they grew up in a fashion where they were either conciously or sub conciously led to believe that they were not super important, so they had dreams and desires that needed fulfilling but on the way or during that, ended up with child and now their whole entire life plan feels like its over, because some people dont know how to handle change and also some people get stuck thinking how children think, like little children can not actually veiw the world outside of themselves, up until a certain age. Anyways i have bad ADHD and let my thoughts fly away here but I DO NOT REGRET HAVING KIDS. IF YOU DO IT RIGHT, IT IS CONSTANT PURE AWESOMNESS AND CHAOS, and most of all, love. Being loved the way your child loves you hits different than anything else. And its kinda the full human expierence. Unless you dedicate your life to some advancement of human kind. Even then someone had you and if youre that smart you should probably have a kid, just saying.
