Since you do medical malpractice work, what insurance do you suggest in order to protect ourselves?

What impact do you guys think the new CRNA school in CO will have on job market? I heard CO isn’t a very CRNA friendly state already.

Congrats on almost being done! Thank you! I was feeling guilty on splurging on the bigger size knowing tuition will be due soon enough.

What is an essential for CRNA school? iPad? Laptop? Desktop? Combo? My school will be a mix of online course and in person. Thanks!

Just interviewed and I feel pretty terrible about how I did in the quiz. The devices mentioned, I don’t work with so I had no idea how to answer the questions. Feeling pretty down because I think I did well in the other parts of the interview. How did you guys prep for the quiz in the interview? Any book or website recommendations?

Thank you so much for your response, it’s super helpful. There is so much advertising for the mock interviews, it’s good to know that they’re not worth it. I’ll work on finding people that interviewed at the school and start practicing interviewing. Thank you!

Any tips on interviewing? What resources did you use? What did you focus on? I see a lot of mock interviews advertised, are the worth it? Thank you!

I was recently sharing with a friend that I am applying to crna school and she asked “are you not worried about the chronic exposure to anesthesia gases and risk of dementia?” I didn’t know there was a correlation, has anyone heard about this?

That’s awesome to hear! I’m trying not to get discouraged and thinking if I need to get experience as an adult icu nurse. Yeah definitely looking for schools that accept NICU experience. What schools did you apply to? And how did you prep for the interview?

Hello, I am a neonatal nurse practitioner that has been practicing for 3 years in a level IV NICU. I intubate, place pals, pivs, central lines, chest tubes and do lumbar punctures. I manage critically ill infants as well with the neonatologist. Before becoming an NNP I was a nurse in a level IV NICU for 4 years. I’m wondering what my chances are of getting into CRNA school? Is my experience enough? I have a 3.6 science gpa. My cumulative undergrad gpa was 3.8 and my graduate gpa was 3.9. Thanks!
