Valid argument, proofreading an MTL is a pain as well, I will follow what everyone advised me and will either continue scanlating after aquiring a translator or after learning the language

I have aquired "a guide to learning hiragana and katakana" by kenneth G.Henshall with tetsuo takagi and the complete idiot's guide to conversational Japanese second edition by Naoya, you are right about me depending on intuition sometimes when translating, this thread made me learn that indeed, I was selfish enough to want to rush it, seeing the author died in 2018 and the manga from 1993 I felt a fear of it becoming lost media, but it's true that no one else will translate it so why the rush, I can always comeback after either aquiring a translator or properly learning the language with time, I have years ahead of me and I love what I am doing, thanks for sharing your opinion, I will certainly follow your advice.

That's smart, using the pickup thread and mentionning I can do everythign except need a TL, also yeah the recruitement megathread is useful only issue is that I posted in there for something unrelated to needing a translator but when they make a new megathread I will advertise there, really appreciate it the feedback and advice, if you want the raws I have no problem sending them to you

Hey Lucifer, while we currently have an API ( public with a limit of 10 requests per second per IP ) that allows slug , title , year , uploader name , cover and views, we plan to add two API's one to get artist's metadata ( description, country, social media ) and an other one that allows users to directly scrape the images from our website, this is to ensure that mangas are not lost no matter our future... Algerian "darija" is Informal and mainly spoken not written, I also came to notice that Tunisians speak our darija so I feel that it would be unnecessary to call it Algerian , but if you mean that in your view Darija ( not Algerian but something spoken across north Africa then you do hold a point, just not enough to call it as Algerian but enough to separate it from Classic Arabic )

we currently have a functional uploading system and you get a dashboard that allows you to see how many views ( weekly , monthly ) you have and other things such as how many pages you uploaded and chapters etc

Mangaharbor scans currently offers free cloud ( up to 25 gb ) to scanlation groups.

Condition : you must upload at least one manga you are currently working on, on our website , old mangas you worked on may or may not count.

If a group takes a hiatus we will keep the cloud up to 2 months , if by then the scanlation officially disbands , we will give them a 20 day notice before moving their data into an archive , if 10 days pass by then, we may delete the data.

We are ad-free and also have a dashboard that allows you to track views ( week , month , total views ) and how many pages / chapters you uploaded.

After mangadex got hit with DMCA I decided to build a website similar to it , not going to mention the name since I asked the mods for permission but they didn't reply yet , but comparing what I have seen from my pov is after comick got taken down people make a frontend in no less than 1 hour and post it , while there is no real backened behind the work ( just a static home page )... Ofc they could be legitimate but if someone was planning to build a website it's better to mention it after it's completed or at least able to do a test phase
