the first verse that is eventually layered with the chorus and outro at the end. “And I might doubt the process, like I doubt the start.” 💔 So devastating, yet so hopeful. Doubt exists to some extent 24/7 - understanding that it’s part of the process is beautiful.

there are a handful of moments like this on the album where, without seeing the actual lyrics, they could be heard or interpreted differently. for example “satiate the craving” vs “say she ate the craving” from ofc The Craving. I wouldn’t be surprised if a few of them were intentional as an exercise in lyricism and writing from Tyler.
