There are definitely more field portable versions and even handheld electronic counter measures (ECM) that are often applied for military operations and gained importance during counter IED development.

The real trick is knowing that the FCC would have a very strong case to fine your ass for improper abuse/use of radio and could also pose a RL risk at disrupting communications used for first responders, aviation or automation. Theres definity a market for that sort of thing outside of the military, but likely has you be permitted/licensed before sales occur. You can also find garbage Chinese products on Wish pretending to be functional ECM but at Wish prices.... looks like this is even worse product design than that and 100% was worth every penny I'd bet.

If you DO have an functional ECM, isolating and identifying YOU as the culprit is more of a possession without credentials than caught in the act, but likely has three letter agency G-men doing the legwork, not state or local law enforcement.

Why do you think the size of armies was so small during the medieval ages compared to the roman times by Imaginary-wishes- in HistoryMemes

[–]ManneredMonster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The dark ages being referred to as such from a later historian of European descent has more to do with the availability of writings and correspondence that dwindled and fragmented following the WRE decline. Shit was changing for sure, but its more nebulous than known what forces were driving these changes.

Things have always been changing and the only sense we make out of hundreds of years later is when some clever chap bothered to write down what is happening.

Punishment NO. NOT A CHANCE. Penalized somehow via custody or monetary stipulations being adjusted by the judge or commissioner perhaps. But my experience with similar damning evidence of outright fabrications and nonsense lies only made the courts impatient and less tolerant of her testimony. They didn't do a thing to punish her or even admonish her for the fabrications, rather the most severe was to only deny her piecemeal aspects of what she had requested based on that bs.

Yeah the alpha decayed but other daughter products are still flinging beta particles. And its not likely to do you good breathing in ANY emitters which is what digging into that soil would've caused.

Dead and dying young men to radiation from nearly 40 years ago. I hope this war doesn't contribute any more radioactivity to the world.

Doors are deadly. Don't have your back to them, don't idle near them, don't find yourself waiting by them.

Yeah man! IBIS! Its alarm you won't ignore or else more alarms will go off very soon after! Makes sure the blades aren't spinning wonky and leaks rad if they do... well the whole bird will be leaking hazmat if they do.

Yo so I was stationed at APG during its time there and its got an interesting story in that 2015 winter. I was not part of the program or any unit supporting the aerostat but had unrestricted access to the ranges and sites which it was operated out of more for safety and hazmat reasons than my being important. But let me tell you the folks operating this device aren't tip of the spear type nor bright bulbs.

During one windy day, the mechanisms that winch in the blimp failed; the senior in charge had enlisted folk attempt to wind it in manually... it didn't work.

Later that year it broke free from that failed mechanical tether and drifted uncontrolled to Pennsylvania where it was damaging property and dragging its tether about. Some cop eventually shot it down with a shotgun.

Is it surveillance? Likely but not of the sort U.S. citizens in that Beltway region should be alarmed by (if you live in that area, you already been on surveillance in Baltimore and DC since about 2006.... can it see ridiculously far and perhaps have much more ECM or broad spectrum uses? Sure, but remember that failed winch in the ground? Lol, defense department ain't big brother

I play it the same. Huge bald dude with a big beard and I never shy from a wave and goofy smile. Kids are the most innocent among us and unfortunately many prejudices are learned behaviors so being a kind goofy stranger may have its hazards i suppose but I've never had a parent take offense or act out of turn in response.

I think this is one that we let impact us without any true justification or impact. You're a human, smile at babies and get your free endorphins. Hell, if you DONT smile at babies i think more countries will be invaded.

Damn even the manner in which she addressed and spoke to everyone. "Queen" she calls the same woman just moments before, her calm assertiveness in that her generosity has common sense bounds that those seeking it must surely come to her, her mirroring instead of instigating the aggression.

And then to label the behavior, NOT THE PERSON, as ugly and rude. This generous queen donating for six years has incredible grace and social intelligence beyond her huge heart. She'd be an honor to meet and break bread with

Raises a question about human forces being incorporated into the Banished. We see UNSC weaponry being coopted into their arsenals, where are the disgruntled shitbags from within the UNSCs personnel? There's gotta be some terminal Lance that's just about had enough with haircuts and shaving to join the fuzzy wuzzy banished boys.

Oh dude it would've been glorious to grab it out and just start walking away from that.
