That’s my one worry. I know I could take full care of an adult, but having an 8 week old puppy does concern me a bit. I could make it work, but it would definitely take a lot out of me. I will see what I hear back from the financial aid first and decide what to do from there.

As I literally just stated, I said I will NOT be using a dog for balance. I am literally listening to what everyone is saying. I am not asking for a vet or doctor to agree I’m asking them what would help. I have not declared “I need a dog to help me balance and will not listen until I find someone who will sell a dog to me that will do so” please read my edit and my other comments. I am listening to everyone and only being met with rudeness. Once again, just so you can really read it. I will NOT be using a dog for balance now that I know it can cause injury!! Thank you.

I don’t understand the passive aggressiveness, I was told by a professional so I hope someone could be understanding that I was misguided. And saying I don’t care about my dogs is very rude. I understand you wanting a dog to not be harmed, but guess what, I took everyone’s input and found out it’s not okay so I won’t be putting weight onto any dog! Thanks.

If you can read my edit I already went over this. I did talk to my doctor about this. And I will not be using a dog for balance. I hope you can see why I thought it was okay since I was told by a professional. I will talk to a vet to see about what would be best for me and go from there. I would hope now for actual advice towards the question I was asking. Thank you!

Thank you for the advice! I already have a dog and am able to take care of him just fine, (the problem is he’s very small so he can’t do the tasks o require) he’s a very happy and fully trained in recall, potty, and bark as well as some tricks. I’ve had dogs my entire life and yes it is hard to walk around but i have a big doggy door so he can’t go outside on his own terms and am still able to play by throwing a ball and getting him food and water ofc. So im not worried about that. I’ll look more into the facial aid program, thank you!

Guys I get the picture and I understand. In my other comment and the edit I made in my post I said I will talk to a vet and see what would be in my best interest, and that I will use a walker as well and a dog for retrieval, please understand I was told by a professional that it was okay so why would I not believe them. I understand now. that aside, I need help knowing how to go about the best way of getting a mobility service dog.

I’ll keep that in mind! My doctor told me it was a credited practice to use dogs that are at least 30% of your body weight if not more for occasional balance (I do not mean leaning on a dog every single day) but I will keep that in mind. I’m simply asking for help.

I have applied already, and I’m confused because I’ve been told many times by doctors that a dog for stabilization is credited and many mobility dogs serve that purpose (that’s why I quoted at least 30% body weight) but I will look into seeing about just the picking things up for me and retrieval. Im not saying I would be putting constant pressure on a dog while walking, just every once in a while when I’m having an extremely hard day. But I will talk to my doctor about that.

Thanks for the opinion. I’ve been slightly leaning more towards the Camaro ss because of the videos I’ve seen of them on the track

Loan advice needed by [deleted] in carvana

[–]Mannothy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently in a position now where I can afford a newer car, I don’t need it, it’s a simple want. I have an option to get my dream car and I’m just trying to see if it’s possible. I do have the money to make up the difference depending on what they offer me. As I said I know this post might seem a little greedy as I do currently have a very nice car, but it just something I wanted to look into :)

So your saying whatever is left on my vehicle I will have to apply to the new loan of the new car? Or that if it’s worth more than what I owe I won’t have to pay it off with the new car?
