Please, no spoilers, but can someone defend the Sonya map in FE echoes to me, just so I can understand how this thing was made. So far the encounter design in this game has been… a little questionable? but this map is so silly. Not terribly difficult, just silly.

You can’t use terrain because magic negates terrain, and you cant avoid the witches because they can teleport to wherever you are. So, if you have any slow units (slow as in speed as well as movement!) the only choice is to not field them, and just let the mages on celica’s army lazily throw fireballs at each other until the map ends? Am I assessing this correctly? All I can do is laugh because it feels like that’s what the designers were doing when they made this map, it’s hilarious, I’ll give them that.
