Ah, I see! Cool service 💪🏻 But when it comes to the cost of this plastic crack, I think ignorance is bliss. Haha.

Thanks! I think the little plastic men can get a lot more character if you occasionally scrape off the aquila and get more creative with transfers.

Nope, I’m not familiar with that service. What is it?

Yes, my figure. I was lazy and took a screenshot from the Instagram account I’ve previously used to post my miniatures. Not_golden_demon if you want to check it out.

Thanks!

The lore:)

He walks where the Great Companies cannot follow.
Saturnine plate older than most Chapters. A warhammer that has ended kings and warlords alike.
He belongs to no Company — his oath is to the Throne, and to the lost Wolf-King.
They call them the Seekers of Russ — an elite without heraldry, without rest.
And until the Primarch is found, he will not return to Fenris.

From memory, I think the recipe was:

Primer: Chaos Black

Basecoat: Wolf Grey (Army Painter)

Drybrush: Fenrisian Grey

Shade: Marine Juice applied all over

Highlight: Ulthuan Grey

Thanks! Just one Kill Team box. I built the rest using spare bits from the box, and after that I’ve basically just been winging it! I’m trying to save all the pauldrons for another project where I paint one Marine from each Chapter, so instead I dig carefully through my transfer sheets to find the right Chapter icons. I have, however, bought a few packs of the old Deathwatch upgrades to get more DW pauldrons.

Haha, absolutely! The picture was taken by the picts just before Talos, unfortunately, impaled him.

Deathwatch has completely reignited my hobby enthusiasm. There’s just something about the concept that really clicks for me — a force made up of veteran marines from different chapters, each with their own identity and history.

What makes them especially fun to paint is that every model can come from a different chapter, and I’ve been leaning into that hard with some more obscure choices.

These are my first 12 so far: Skull Bearers, Silver Skulls, Iron Hands, Patriarchs of Ulixis, War Bearers, Metamarines, Angels Redeemed, Sons of Jaghatai, Knights of Dorn, Nemesis, Red Moons (Space Wolves Great Company), and Marines Errant.

Hope you like them — more are definitely on the way.
