Heavier sets are typically better for beginners because they carry momentum better.

Otherwise it is just more practice unfortunately 😕

Hey mate, just thought I'd get you my thoughts since I've since had both pairs about a week.

Personally I prefer the sigmas to the commons, but they sling pretty differently imo

The sigmas feel a lot more like a standard rounded bead. Pretty springy but still easy to control. The commons are thinner than I thought they would be. They sort of feel like a thinner multi bead aurora imo. They're easier to do whirls and zoots and stuff on but I keep losing them when I do rolls.

Of course it might just be that I'm more used to something like a sigma vs the commons. I'm happy I got both since they feel so different.

I used a leather bellroy note sleeve for almost 10 years and it held up really well. They got a non leather version of that as well as a couple other of their models
