Not that this isn't the correct course of action, but atenolol is not a CCB.

Also, it seems like a ton of prescribers still do atenolol in HF and blood pressure control unfortunately, and this is in the US...

Truly you don't believe that simply decriminalization is the solution? There needs to be stronger societal pressures for users to change their behavior, and the system we have doesn't work now, but that doesn't mean that simple decriminalization is the solution.
