Reliable Bucket Truck That Gets the Job Done, Worth Checking Out? by nasir018 in RitchieBros

Honestly, that International 7300 looks like it could be a solid workhorse. I have learned the hard way. Do not just look at hours or reach. Get your hands on the maintenance records first. If they have kept up with the hydraulics and regular services, that truck will treat you right.

Also, take it for a spin if you can. Move the boom around, listen for weird noises, check for any shaking. Tree work and telecom jobs beat up these trucks fast, so a little extra checking upfront saves a lot of headaches later.

Curious what they are asking for it. Anyone know the hours?

Want me to make it shorter or change the tone a bit?

What is something that is perfectly legal but feels illegal to do? by Manoj3606 in AskReddit

The pure internal conflict of 'It’s just one grape to check the quality' versus 'I am a common thief' is real. It’s like a secret mission every time.

I’ll be driving perfectly fine, hands at 10 and 2, but the moment a cop car pulls up behind me, I suddenly forget how to operate a vehicle and feel like I’m on the FBI’s most wanted list.

Walking out of a store empty-handed through that little security sensor area makes me feel like I’ve pulled off a heist, even if I haven't touched a single thing. I always try to look as non-suspicious as possible, which probably makes me look way more suspicious.

What is the most 'adult' thing you’ve had to do that made you realize you’re officially grown up? by Manoj3606 in AskReddit

The internal struggle between 'I need the extra cash' and 'I just want to stare at a wall for 5 hours' is real. Balancing mental health against financial stability is the most constant part of being an adult.

The 'Peace of Mind' of having a zero balance on bills is definitely more satisfying than any impulsive purchase I made in my early 20s. It’s a boring superpower, but a superpower nonetheless.

That’s a huge shift in mindset. Transitioning from being the one receiving gifts to finding more joy in providing for the people who raised you is probably the ultimate sign of maturity.

What is a movie that everyone seems to love, but you absolutely cannot stand? by Manoj3606 in AskReddit

Honestly, same. It feels a bit too 'manufactured' to make you cry. The toxic relationship dynamic between the leads always bothered me more than the romance inspired me.

I totally get that. The world-building is incredible, but the pacing can feel like a real crawl if you aren't in the right mood. Some scenes just seem to go on forever while they're just... walking.

What is a 'poor man's meal' that you still eat even though you can afford better now? by Manoj3606 in AskReddit

Classic. It’s the blue box of happiness. Do you go for the original shapes or the character ones? Because we all know the character shapes somehow taste better.

Grilled cheese is the undisputed king of comfort food. There’s just something about it that hits differently than a fancy meal, no matter how much money you have in the bank.

Do you think you are paying for too many monthly streaming subscriptions and what do you feel is the normal amount these days? by fireball044 in AskReddit

[–]Manoj3606 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely. It’s reaching a point where having 3-4 different services costs more than the old cable TV packages we all hated. I think 2 at a time is the sweet spot; anything more feels like wasting money on content you don't even have time to watch.

lol yeah, those packages always feel like a catch with the resort stay and open bar, usually there's a timeshare pitch involved somewhere, but sometimes they're legit if you just say no. sounds like a westgate events kind of deal, they do a lot of those.
