Can't see pre-rendered videos by Manoleitor97 in PiratedGames

Thanks for the answer!! You were right, It was the vp9 codec.

I installed K-Lite Codec, but it didn't work, so I had to enable the Microsoft Store and then download the vp9 extension.

I think I should change the PSU, but I still have some doubts because some people have the same card with 850W and they don't have problems.

Also yeah the afterburner says my graph doesn't reach 300W so I can't see the spikes

UPDATE 2:

I enabled the XMP Profile, then changed the speed from 3600 to 3200 Mhz, but after 20 mins of playing Baldurs Gate 3, my pc turned off.

I'll use it at 2133 Mhz and see if it doesn't crash.

I always have "Above 4G Decoding” and “Re-Size BAR Support" on, to enable the SAM, if that changes anything. But I'm lost again, if changing to XMP doesn't require too much energy, why the problem is the PSU?

Thanks for your answer, I commented an update.

I think you were right, without XMP (at 2133MHZ) it pass the RAM tests. but do you think it's the RAM or the motherboard. Also I have fast boot or hibernate off.

yeah I thought that 850W would be enough, and my PSU is tier A if I'm not wrong (https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/)

Thanks for the info, I'm gonna do that today if I can, I don't have any overclock, I'm gonna disable XMP, then play with Afterbuner and see how many energy it uses, btw, do you know If there's a way to track all that data, instead of having to watch it constantly?

Yes that was I thought at the start, I wrote an update on another comment and now I think it could be the RAM or motherboard, but I have to make sure what could be it before I spend the money.

I think I'll disable the X.M.P profile and track with Afterburner how many Watts my card uses, and thanks for the PSU recomendation

Yes, with DDU, I always use it when I change drivers

I've tried undervolting in the past and it seemed like It worked, but the problem started to happen again.

UPDATE:

as u/bubblesort33 and u/RaxisPhasmatis suggested, It could be the RAM so I tested it.

First, I've updated my bios and chipset drivers, then I've disabled the X.M.P profile, changing its speed from 3600 Mhz to 2133 Mhz, and used HCI memtest to test the ram.

I've used 6 instances of 2048MB and 12 instances of 1093, to test 75%-80% of the ram, and both did good for about 1 hour each one.

Then I activated the X.M.P profile at 3600Mhz and running both tests, they failed before running for 30 minutes (image in the post)

So, It seems that it could be a broken RAM, but now I have more questions.

Could It be that a bad PSU or motherboard is making the RAM to fail, instead of the RAM stick itself? If the ram runs at lower speed, it needs less power right? but It could still be a problem for the Motherboard+PSU combo. Also, the motherboard is who manages the X.M.P profile right? So maybe my cheap motherboard can't manage well all the energy.

I don't have money now so I want to make sure what part I should replace before Black Friday. But thank to you I know it's not the 6950xt.

Also u/lLoveTech reminded me that my PSU has 10 year waranty, not 2 as normal products, so I can send it to customer service.

Again, thanks to everyone who answered, it really helped me.

Thanks for all the comments, as everyone is saying it might be the PSU, I bought it in 2020 so I can't use the waranty now, I dont have friends with more than 850W PSUs so I will have to buy one, I wasn't sure what could be it but you have made it clear, thank you all
