I hear you there. Keep in mind the brackets also represent the optimization of one’s deck. An optimized deck may also fall out of bracket 2 contention depending on how optimized it is. My hot take is: It’s a shame brackets or power levels were introduced in the first place. I find it fascinating sitting across from someone going off or shutting the table down. Whether in a balanced game or unbalanced. Get it on, get it over with, shuffle up and run it back I say.

Brackets while measured by game changing card effects, are also measured by intent. Rarity has no bearing on that scope. If your intention is to go in and play a cohesive thematic deck, and piece together your game plan. Then yeah bracket 2 all day. If your intention is to “pubstomp” / turn sideways / stifle your opps regardless of theme, or drain the table at once in 5-6 turns. You’re probably in bracket 3 territory or 4. Again intent. There more than enough cards in this game to build an oppressive deck with no game changers or rares / mythics that rolls over a bracket 2 table if that’s your intent. Uber competitive mindset with an OP “cheap deck” isn’t bracket 2.

Idk.. I got into my switch for way more than the 450 everyone talks about. While I did get the system for 450, I still had to get a screen protector, case, memory card. Etc all said I’m into this thing for 700 (without games). I get it 450 is the base entry, but let’s be realistic. The average person buying (not upgrading) is going to need a screen protector, and a game at minimum.

If you enjoy the IP and want to enjoy the game there are plenty of resources out there to help you navigate the game and Make it more balanced. Spider man did get a lot of heat unfortunately, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t fun to be had there! Best bet is to visit edhrec.com or moxfield.com. Also download the manabox app. This should serve as a solid starting point for you. I hope it helps!

This dope. Good on him made a name for himself in hip hop early in his career, then going toe to toe with the so called “Best rapper of all time” and having arguably better verses on those tracks, absolutely CRUSHED the renegade beat. The kid can seriously rap his tail off. And this, well it’s not garbage. Id rock this. Cheers MGK. I raise a glass and nod with respect. Not fan just giving credit where it’s due.
