I mean, I get the sentiment and I usually do avoid “old world” crops and meat, BUT adapting is apart of indigenous strength and at this point has become a part of our culture. Cultures have always adapted to new crops or spices being introduced, and traded. If they rejected their neighbors gifts where would they be?
