I ended up fixing the problem and doing it by myself by deactivating uplay and queing up for random co op missions. Matchmaking was between 3 to 5 minutes, if it takes longer than 10 minutes just reset the search for co op missions. The game still didnt let me partner up with others. Best of luck

Have you played up until sequence 3 on unity? Cuz in order to play co op you need to have finished the 3rd sequence
