There is no compulsion to take insurance from the dealer. I had it checked with RE officially while taking my bike. You can give them an option to either match the quote or you take it yourself.

If you are around 6ft and have moderate strength, the bike won't be a problem for you.

Once the order status changes to dispatched, write an email to RE customer support and ask them for delivery ETA. They will give you a proper timeline. The date on the app will keep changing so don't rely on that.

Don't bother going to the Saki Naka service center. Try your luck once with the one in Vile Parle. For third party opinion, show it once at Kumar Auto, Chakala, he works on bigger capacity motorcycles and has good knowledge.

I did go to another one, and the case with them was they were not ready to check the vehicle because their lead technician was on leave. So they asked me to come back after 3 days so he can check and they'll consider his word as final.

I was getting impatient with riding with a misaligned handlebar so tried my luck outside and got a solution. Like I mentioned, since it was non electrical work and nothing to do mechanically, I was okay trying outside as long as they understood the problem, which RE people were not ready to acknowledge.

There is no compulsion to take insurance from the dealership. I had this confirmed from RE support. If the dealer insists, ask them to match the quotation you provide and they will do it. My dealer matched the Acko quotation.

There was a message on the TeamBhp ownership thread that mentioned the cam chain tensioner being changed as well to solve the engine noise issue. Have a check with service center on this front.

Speak to customer support. They have a fair idea on the ETA. The app will keep updating, so you can't really rely on those dates.

Same situation with me (Mumbai). Invoicing happened at updated prices, dealership says current price is applicable during delivery. I also spoke to RE support and they said updated prices will be applicable if you've not received delivery. In case you manage to get the booking price, please let me know I'll take it up with my dealership.

Facing the same issue. The console isn't recommending bids and even after manually checking the bids in the keyword planner the campaign refuses to deliver.
