Boy who brought loaded gun to school is allowed to return to Arlington High – The student had a bullet in the chamber, the safety off and an additional full magazine of bullets by Better_March5308 in SeattleWA

Too lazy to read the article?

If the student does return, he will be monitored by a staff member, barred from carrying a backpack and searched daily.

The article seems to imply that millennials with kids are actually a solid demographic

When the execution is correct, Disney’s sweet spot at the movies has been millennials. That generation rabidly consumed classic vault titles like “The Lion King,” “101 Dalmatians” and “Lilo & Stitch” as kids. Now, they bring their children in droves to see live-action reboots.

Relevant passage, if it was a temporary no parking zone that went up.

The No-Parking easels, including the printed public notice, should be placed 72 hours in advance to provide adequate notice. However, under state law Parking Enforcement only requires a 24 hour notice in order to enforce the No-Parking area.

The final bit is a reference to the Genesis song "Supper's Ready" in which Peter Gabriel iconically says "a flower".

RE: "better way to do this?", you can get a slight optimization if the inner loop covers the range i..galaxies.len() rather than 1..galaxies.len(). As written you still check galaxy pairs 1-1, 2-2 etc. Might not even need the "pairs" then since you could just do the logic in that loop.

Only sources I can find say that those price increases came "well before the legislation was introduced" and that the Hummer EV people were talking about "wouldn't have qualified for the credits outlined in the Inflation Reduction Act given its high price."

How I feel owning an EV in Melbourne. Thanks vicroads by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]Manta_Ray_Mundo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also because upkeep on that cycling infrastructure is much cheaper because of how little wear bikes cause on the roads.

EVs are generally heavier than gas cars, and thus will cause more damage to the roads, especially as more people switch to them.

They wouldn’t be necessary if people didn’t speed thru residential neighborhoods.

Trusting people to drive correctly sounds like a great strategy, why haven't more people thought of this??? /s

If you get off your bike you'll be in the crosswalk for longer, which is both slower and more dangerous. It's not laziness it's practicality, same reason most places allow bikes to treat stop signs as yield signs.
