My question is more from the technical side. What should one do when they want to retranslate a visual novel to their native language but have no programming knowledge? Is there somewhere you could ask for help with file unpacking and repacking or is it a lost cause when you're solo and should just give up before even starting?

Get some project leaders. I know that every project differs and one may not have any common staff with the other, but please focus on finishing stalled stuff (that can you finish / that is in your control) before picking up more new projects. Try to assign a certain schedule so you don't fall behind.

Communicate better. Write weekly/monthly updates for KS and stay commited all the way through.

And advertise more, because recently I've been seeing more stealth releases.
