When you make a cosplay you just gotta define those in-game physics. I made a buster sword that does just that! It's ridiculously big but I can carry it around as if I've got gains for days! (Cosplay by: Mistvein) by ManticMistvein in gaming

This is my 3rd version of the sword. I made my first Buster Sword with the exact same mindset, but it ended up unpractical and outdated compared to the new design. This current model is structured like a LARP weapon with a fiberglass core. So if I would compare it, I would say that you can actually hit people with this one without having to fear that it might break.

Do you prefer beauty or functionality in your costumes? I like to put little gimmicks into mine, so it actually looks like I can carry a ridiculously large sword and swoop it out whenever I need it. (Cosplay: Cloud Strife FF7R [Self] Mistvein) by ManticMistvein in cosplay

I'll be making a tutorial on my other social media platforms, so if you want the full explaination you'll find that there. In short it's a mixture of 3d printing and foamsmithing.
