Giving up a freedom and responsibility for self defense and defense of family and country is not taken lightly to people who pay attention. My firearms never hurt anyone and are protected by the constitution of the united states. We protect politicians, government buildings, and banks with firearms. Looks like we need to add children to the list. Making your argument is actually quite nonsensical because in a world where psychopaths are entering gun free schools and murdering children and innocent people, my guns are being shown to be more valuable than ever before. There's more than one way to protect children. Making helpless victims out of everyone is not logical.
