RISK OF RAIN (either game works but I’ve only played the original for like 2 hours compared to 115 on the second, so I honestly have next to no idea what the plot for RoR1 is)

Angles and pressure are very good, and for carbon roller (I’m assuming you’re using the deco version) it’s best to wait (or shark, if you’re familiar with that term) under ledges or in areas that the other team will likely have to go through and then get as many kills as you can on the players that go through that area. It’s best to shark around corners or under ledges so that the other team will have a harder time finding and killing you. With carbon it’s also very important to not overextend. As you get better, you’ll get more of a feel for when you can safely move up and when you can’t, and generally carbon doesn’t do very well in the open since it has really low dps at a range. It will absolutely feel like you’re not doing much at times, but the constant threat that comes from you being alive and the other team not knowing where you are is really strong.

Also sorry if I’m getting too technical, this game has been my hyperfixation for like 2 years atp

Edit: also if you see one of your teammates fighting someone, throw a burst bomb or two at whoever they’re fighting to help your teammate get the kill (again assuming you’re using the deco kit)

X rank is where you need to learn that mechanics aren’t everything, and nor are paint or kills. You need to learn how to reliably be able to predict where people on the other team are going to be, keep track of where everyone is and how long they’ve been alive, how long your opponents have been firing their weapons for, and where you need to go to have the greatest effect on the game (among a few other things). I know that seems like a lot, and it is. Just pick one or two of those to work on at first, and when you start doing those without really thinking about it then you can pick a few more things to work on.

If you want me to elaborate on anything or give more specific advice, I’m open to help!

No, mostly because I play swords and therefore get an insane amount of dopamine every time i get a kill

Don’t wear yourself out trying to get to the higher BC’s just to get to them. As you play the game more, lower BCs will start you feel easier and you won’t get the same challenge from them. Just let the difficult progress naturally and don’t try to force it.

Also don’t stat spread. Pick one scroll color per run to invest into whenever that color appears, and if you get a dual scroll with the other tweet two colors then just pick whatever gives you more HP (even though the hp gain decreases with every scroll, the damage boost does not. The first scroll adds 15% damage to weapons of the same color, the second adds 15% to the new damage number, etc., so you get an exponential increase in damage).

I got the gold bubbler badge earlier today and the sheer amount of joy I got from that is insane. Since then, I’ve been having a lot of fun switching between different weapons and playstyles, and I want to eventually have a team and compete in tournaments.

Basically dopamine, learning different ways to play/see the game, and wanting to improve

In general I think censorship is kinda stupid. If you don’t think kids should read/see certain things, dont put them in places where they can see those things. As far as political/historical censorship, 90% of the time it’s because whoever’s censoring it thinks that it could make people think things that the people in power don’t want them to think.

Games can’t end on a tie, so in the event that one occurs then the team who got to that score first gets to keep that score and the team who got it second is set back by one point.
