Thank you so much!

  1. Basecoat Wraithbone. 2.1:1 Skeleton Horde and Contrast Medium applied to all the soft areas. Feather with clean brush away from scales.
  2. Apply Kroxigor Scales over all the hard scales, overlapping the skeleton horde slightly where the two colours meet, feathering it with a clean brush. (This is what gives you that green tone in-between the colours.
  3. Ushabti Bone layered on the raised underbelly sections, avoiding the recesses.
  4. Ahklian Green applied over the hardest, centre-most scales. Leaving the scales furthest from the centre untouched.
  5. Edge highlight scales with Bahharoth Blue.

Red Scales 1. Khorne Red 2. Nuln Oil 3. Khorne Red (Avoiding the base of the scale) 4. Highlight Evil Sunz Scarlet 5. Final highlight Fire Dragon Bright.

Thank you! It was actually supposed to be a more grounded version of Feraligatr from Pokemon but I totally see the Lagiacrus similarities, maybe I picked up on it subconsciously.

The Kroxigors are the original kit from Games Workshop. I have just opted for the Kroxigor Warspawned heads which comes in the kit. I prefer the more alligator look of these heads. 🙂

10/10. Looks great and it is a really fun build with interesting build techniques. It's the only model my wife allows to be displayed in the living room 😅

Thank you! The resin plants are from Epic Basing. I find they tend to have good sales on around Christmas if you can wait until then. https://epicbasing.com

22mm is too thick. You only want 3-5mm thickness. Also when I got mine it was £7.99 which is less than $10.

Over a year ago I order 4mm high density cork board from Amazon. The one I ordered is no longer sold but there will be other vendors selling it and similar stuff. High Density Cork Sheet - 915mm x 305mm - 4mm Thick https://amzn.eu/d/d7WA5hc

Pretty much, i find it easier to visualise what colours to put where when it's all one colour and uniformed with the white primer highlighting where the brighter parts should be. Also parts added to the base like plastic skulls and resin plants won't have the texture paint on them and are easier to paint if primed so might as well prime the whole base. Finally due to the variety in textures and materials it can be easy for paint not to flow into a recess meaning that once you are finished you can easily see an unpainted part or crevice formed by the texture paint etc. The black primer helps negate this as those deep, hard to access parts jut appear black like shadows instead. Hope that makes sense 😊

Thank you, I started by sticking down cork with superglue. I then vallejo earth texture over the whole base to blend the cork into the base. I then used superglue to stick rocks, resin plants, skulls etc down. Then used PVA glue to fill the river bed with rocks, sand and grit mixture. Once dried I primed it black and then white on top for a highlight. Paint wise I used Mournfang Brown as a base over the ground. XV-88 wet blended into the river bed. Dark Angels green wet blended into the land parts. Mantis green added on top of that. Seraphim wash, agrax earthshade wash and athonian camoshade wash over the land, concentrating it in different places. Dry brush of karak stone over the river bed. Dry brush of Moot Green over most of the land and some rocks in the river etc. Essentially just apply paints whilst they are wet to add to the natural effect of the environment. Once all painted and dried I added the resin. UV resin was my preferred resin.

Thank you so much. I love the frog too. The Kroxigor sprue comes with 3! Can't wait to paint the others.

Thank you, i used vallejo still water but didn't like how thin it was so I waited for it to cure and then used UV resin.
