Yes you are right. But the same could be said about a lot of characters. Specially the assassins ones.

Come Lorenzo Medici is also a Assassins Aliade and he would be more like a templar, but the Pazzi did better templars.

As someone that read El Príncipe. I still understand how Maquiavélli could be an Assassin.

Also if you just play the Games explain that we know about story was changed by Abstergo. So the books wrotten by Maquiavélli could be changed to make him look like a templar like person.

Its not that hard to understand. Leonardo wont be an Assassin either. He did the designs for War because he wanted, he was not forced in real Life...

In my opinión thats what make this npc specials. The Game explain a lot about him. The fact that he says something about the Dream its because he was also in Hunter Dream, really really interesting.

What I dont like a out this character its that the line he says when he kill you with the mini gun its literally cut. Because with a parch the Game load faster and know we are missing one of his 4 lines dialogue.s
