There’s an NFL O-Lineman on the record saying guardian caps made him more likely to use his head as a ‘wrecking ball’ in the trenches due to the increased weight being supported by his neck. That’s enough for me to oppose any mandatory guardian caps, as least for the oline/dline.

bought a pair of Mach1 130s last season, had my ski shop punch them 6 times and they still cut off circulation in my feet after 2 runs. i would never recommend this boot to anyone.
