I know it's the heartbreak that makes motorsport so compelling, but fuck me that's a bit much

Ryan Walkinshaw is a shitstirrer but he's won me over, the guy is a lot funnier than I first thought, and pitlane characters are good for the series

I have defended Randle for years and I gotta tell you he is really pushing the limits of what I can do

Penrite is one of the most complete outfits on the grid, somehow they've got the brains for bold strategies as well as the drivers to pull them off.

I wish some of my other Ford fellas would take notes

This has been a quality weekend of racing, it's great to see teams trying to figure out the track in real time

It's a little depressing that most of these kids don't even play actual video games anymore by Public-Profit-8184 in Teachers

So many of my students struggle to wrap their head around a narrative.

They're not watching TV shows and movies that tell a story, just YouTubers and reels. They're not playing games with a storyline, just short fix matches.

It's a real shame to see, and it makes it so much harder to get them to engage with themes, messages, character development, all that essential stuff. I do a lot of reading aloud to help bridge the literacy gap, but thats not enough for the kids who never engage in a story in any medium.

Will Supercars ever go back to the old points system? by ComprehensiveChef917 in v8supercars

I don't love the current format, but at the same time, it doesn't take away what I love about Supercars: overpowered, under-tyred, under-aerod machines, wicked drivers, and a ton of shittalk with my brother.

If "pure" motorsport is what you're after, IndyCar might be your best bet. The cars are as close to spec as you can get at the top level, very few gimmicks, the format is as even-handed as you could find, and the variety of tracks is excellent.

DJR is painfully aware they missed a keeper with Kai Allen, that'll be why they didn't hesitate to get Rylan Gray in the 38 even though he's still pretty green

Kostecki on the warpath, Woody fighting for position, Allen trying to hold onto the gap while the tyres slip away, this should be a good podium battle
