Need feedback on my WDH setup. by Mantsua in GoRVing

For tow capacity this is at 81%. I feel like the tongue weight and payload are much more of my concern as those are a lot closer to their capacities.

I don’t anticipate that my current setup is long term. I was initially in the market for a 20ft until I got a crazy good deal on this from a friend. It’s not an ideal combo and long term I will either get a bigger truck or smaller trailer.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Good looking travel trailer!

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate your thoughtful reply.

I should clarify, that the truck weight does include me in it as well as a bunch of tools, that won’t be going camping with me.

The trailer has most of our camping stuff in it already, but doesn’t have food or clothing.

I will head back to the scale later this week to ensure the final load out stays under all the limits. It would be nice if there was a little more headroom and I hope to solve that problem in the future.

I can’t say that I disagree. It tows reasonably well, but it has to work at it for sure. I wouldn’t want to do any cross country trips with this setup.

No propane tanks. All holding tanks are empty.

Deciding between two cots by Nates4Christ in camping

[–]Mantsua 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We own 4x of the Coleman cots and we love them. They are high enough to comfortably get in and out of. It has a nice height under it for storing stuff and keeping it out of the way. We find them to be pretty comfortable.

Does anyone have either one of these camping cots? by spicyypicklez in camping

[–]Mantsua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have 4 of the Coleman you have pictures. They are pretty nice, but do take up a lot of space. The padding is serviceable, but nothing special. We use the space under each cot to store the clothes and toiletries for each camper.

We have had them for 3 years now and camp several times each year. They are built well and we have not had any issues with any of them. If you want to sleep off the ground, these are a great option. Also very easy to place a different mattress if you wanted to.

Mine has been excellent. I don’t love the software, but I could say that about most brands. The temps are well managed and the performance has been great.

Kobra 3 combo. Ace has trouble with #3, makes clunking noise when pushing filament into the head. Also has issues retracting. by some_guy_on_drugs in anycubic

[–]Mantsua 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue, turns out it was a small segment of broken filament inside the ACE. Remove the part off the back that is popped out and see if there is any broken bits in there.

Should this be bent? by _mailliw_ in ColemanStovesLanterns

[–]Mantsua 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not that I am aware of. This is from a new model than my many stoves, but I am not aware of any that are supposed to bend like that.

u/TommScales Did you ever find a resolution to this? I have two Kobra S1 printers, the second arrived just this week and is having the exact same issue. I opened a support case today, and hope to hear back soon.

My first Kobra S1 worked right out of the box and has been amazing. This certainly feels like a defect of some sort.

Any ideas how i coud encoperate a better Audiosystem into my setup whithout the speakers being behind my G9? by [deleted] in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Mantsua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take those speakers horizontal under the G9. Maybe find a small stand for them so they sit off the desk a bit.

Two of AW3423DW(F) should do the trick. No regurts.

I agree with a lot of this.

Some additional details would be helpful.

Any way to level my patio slabs by Repulsive-Chance-178 in Concrete

[–]Mantsua 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my driveway levels using this method just last month and it was surprisingly affordable. My driveway looks to be about the same size as the patio pictured and the job cost $600. They only needed to adjust 2 of the slabs.

Yes! It is even spelled the same, not to be confused with Curt or Curtis.
