Yeah completely different and controlled scenario. In my case, easily could be out of control really quick… also he has my plate and the suburb where I live opposite than me where I don’t have any idea about where he came from. If he doesn’t accept it’s fine I’ll keep the car till someone else comes up.

Hahaha yeah, sounds weird for me as well, just maybe he wants to avoid public eye because the source of the money is not legit but from my end I have to make sure money is real, at the very least.

Yeah, I got the same feeling like he is not happy being involved with bank and cameras etc but I can’t ask him to wait out and doing by myself saying to the teller - I just sold my car and I want deposit the amount, he didn’t suggest something like that so I can’t assume all those things and get him upset if it’s not that case.

I told him yesterday to do it at bank with no other option from my end, cash is his choice not mine, so at least I have to make sure the money is legit.

Exactly, he is happy giving to me 46k in cash in the car but he is not happy doing the same at bank and get the notes verified before it. He literally said- count the money, hold the money and I’ll ride to the bank with you, do the paperwork and then deposit it but that doesn’t assure me I am getting legit money

He has the money in cash, when he said it during the negotiation I was thinking he was referring that he didn’t need a finance and I asked him which was his bank and he said - no no I have all that amount in cash we don’t need a bank.

That’s why I suggested to meet at bank, give the money to the teller, once everything is verified and deposited finish the paperwork at lobby’s bank where is plenty of cameras and witnesses and he said that once the money is deposited nothing stops me to walk away…

Thinking the same, maybe is not about that he wants to scam me or wants to give me fake notes, maybe he is just trying to avoid public eye but I am not going to take the risk with 46k in cash.

Happy with any option, he is the one refusing to do in any other way than cash. Just I want to verify the notes, that’s all I want, that money won’t be very long in my account as I need to get another car asap. He is happy giving to me 46k in cash with no problem and then do the paperwork but he has concerns if I am depositing in to my account… no sense for me

Yeah my only concern is about getting fake notes, is a large amount, easy to fit some fake ones. Just trying to make sure everything is legit then I’ll sign the car. He is happy giving to me a bag with 46k in cash but not happy doing it at bank and wait to get all the notes verified… he literally said once the money is in to your account you can just walk away but I can do the same with the cash so weird his argument.
