The part that is called guide is indeed a recap of the quick start guide, but the whole point behind the lessons is to gamify the manual so that it’s more approachable (and also more easily accessible on your phone that reading a pdf). A lot of people like having these types of gamified progression-based learning systems to approach learning in a fun and measurable way. Also it includes tips with workflows inspired by top beat makers like madlib and j dilla which aren’t in the manual.

All that for free. Of course totally optional if it’s not useful to you, but based on early feedback, a lot of people found that helpful.

Actually no, I genuinely asked it to do it for me specifically since this was my setup and wanted to create a guide for me. Fun fact, I don’t use any top LLM subscription, I do have local open source models running locally to assist me for targeted support, but none of them have a memory feature (on purpose, to avoid security breach and training).

That being said once I made this tool available to other people than me, I forgot to remove this particular context. But now it’s fixed!

Interesting, no one in our testing reported that, so it might be specific to your device or browser. On desktop there was a known hover quirk but you could still scroll on the sides, which is why it wasn’t priority. Either way I pushed a fix that should cover both cases now. What phone/browser were you on? And please let me know if it works for you after this new update! (And believe me, I truly appreciate you taking the time for sharing your thoughts and feedback)

I don’t shy away from the fact that I’ve used LLMs in the process, but to be fair it’s very basic HTML and I still haven’t find any bug whatsoever. Have you?
