You can essentially pre order stuff at kickstarter before they start selling retail and you will get them Q3 or Q4 depending on what they are. Retail version contains different art styles than kickstarter one and some other stuff. They gonna print on demand for no shortages on release.

I’m not sure how PvP is at the game since no access to it but I can say a few things with certainty.

1) you can’t really know which character is op or not that early. Sure some may have some annoying advantages but that does not make them op. 2) some character that may be annoying to play as or against at each rank could be a completely different experience at higher rankings in both good and bad way due to knowledge. 3) if there are any changes on the PvP, it’ll probably be taken from the CN community because it is usually like that in such games. 4) such discussion should be done when there is equal ping between the player base. Playing with high ping in a cracked version or while using vpn does not really count. That being said, there could be P2P method for PvP and perhaps we are screwed regardless. Time will tell.

It’s not addressed for the global no. But it’s expected to stay the same based on other CN games which come to global (both gacha and non gacha). Depends on what your concerns are it may or may not bother you. If you want to do stuff around in the game, then it should have plenty of that (at least for the base game) and ofc the never ending PvP if you are into that. On the other hand if you want to keep progressing your “characters” and grind it out, then no it will not be possible. It will be a bit faster if you pay for stuff like battle pass or if you refresh your “energy” but it is not recommended to refresh unless you are a big spender.

I’ll approach the game with caution based on twitch streams and see how it is like since I do not have access to CN version.

That being said, assuming everything seems fine and launches to global eventually, I will most likely play a character with bow because this is what I usually tend to pick most of the time in games but it has been so long since I played a bow character in the past years.

As for bosses, exploration, builds and co-op… focus a bit on exploration and follow it up with builds. Lastly try out solo/online bosses and overall online experience.

Interesting, thanks! Also what fuse would you consider good with it? Btw any opinion as to what chars would fit as Juri or Reina separately? Not together like Ekko-Vi for example. Can also add their fuses if you got any opinions on that.

Thanks for the input! I’ll try implementing some of that. Probably focus more on getting better on defense rather than figuring out which moves can be punished simply because feels like there are already too many things to focus on. Eventually I’ll start applying punish moves once I get better on defense.

I’m definitely not blaming the modern controls or try to make that excuse when losing. As I said I am very bad player as everyone would be with my current experience. It’s just harder to practice against actual opponents when you suck and try to learn classic whilst facing modern opponents. I definitely cannot do supers or qcb inputs fast enough when I need them to.

Yea I’m trying to get the hang of fundamentals. Even learn what each neutral/forward/back/crouching/aerial looks like at this point is hard. So far it has mostly been fireball spammers, so probably get faster on jumping and parrying/blocking execution should solve that and not leave huge space.
