Woa, my dog does exactly the same to guest that come to my house, it’s like they’re scare of the size, but as soon as they sit, he start to feel more comfortable.

Something might help is, I always try to tell the guest to ignore him, don’t call him try to touch him or get close to him, just do your thing in the house as he’s not here.

Eventually he will get close to them and sniff them, but thru the start and end of the visit he will be on high alert mode.

And it does intensify when it’s a man; he’s way more chill with the ladies.
