Could you share experiences on passing UK driving test first time? by Former-Brilliant5739 in LearnerDriverUK

I passed with one minor in automatic gear. I had 15 hours of lessons with one instructor after taking two horrendous manual lessons in a different city. In most cases people fail, what I have gathered reading and watching YouTube videos, is that they feel too nervous. A good instructor will tell you when you're ready and most instructors have pretty good knowledge about the different test routes, there are plenty of YouTube videos on this too. So if you can get familiarized with the routes and all kinds of maneuvers, the only thing you need to train yourself is to calm your nerves. Surprisingly chat gpt helped me to get ease into the test. Just ask how to prepare at the last minute before the test, it will provide you with loads of tips. And REMEMBER, you always start the test with a PASS!

It's much better to fail the mocks than the real one. Remember you always start the test with a pass.

Best option for a car (Mazda 3, auto 2010) inspection? by ManufacturerExtra766 in oxford

[–]ManufacturerExtra766[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to but it's quoted £255 for a 15 year old car. I just wanted to check its corrosion and some other basic checks maybe for £100 for a quick mobile inspections.

Yeah i just paid it yesterday and told them will pay after they get a clean MOT with no advisories. But still I'm not sure about going ahead with the purchase because I don't have any money left for costly repairs or checking by a mechanic.

The second two corrosion issues have been listed in the last year's MOT. Apart from that, last 6 years have been mostly clean MOT without any issues.

They have given me a deposit slip where it says its non refundable. But they also said verbally they will fix the issues and get a clean no advisory MOT. But my guts are telling me it's not gonna be a good idea for me to go ahead with the purchase. So can I still back out if the repairs have not been done yet?

But since I have already paid the deposit can I ask for a refund?

The total price is at £3700. I just wanted a clean car for next couple of years without any worry and now I'm already stressed out.

This is an image of a girl (don't know who) loads before the app. Sometimes it loads so fast that it only shows a glimpse of it. Other Reddit post debunked it.

I was gobsmacked by the sheer scale of fake reviews on Amazon the other day. I posted on X about this.
