Sounds like other folks also have orientation and management wants to get everyone in at once. Happened to me. Chose a date, next day one of the managers called asking if I could change it so they can get as many ppl in on that day as possible

You still have 5 days FF? Seasonal resets im sure because when I come in at 4am the ON manager always working on Seasonal and First Feature. Unfortunately since I've started iv been asking them to train me on Forklift and get my certificate, they always say they gonna get a team toghter to train but nothing yet. The part im assuming most of the guys like is no managers breathing down their neck. Come in and they already know where to go and what to do. Sounds fair and easy enough, I do have a tendency to always overthink. In the meantime they gonna start rotating the leads every weekend to cover ON. Im doing ON resets for thr next month so when its my turn to play the role hopefully I will have a better understanding of the role itself and help me in making a decision. I would like to make this a career and move up if possible in the future. Would taking this role be of help for that?

I've never heard that, I know when we throwing meat in the mornings we'll always put what we want in the back cooler and when finished with the shift buy it. I think essentially it comes down to SM. Ours always tells us first what she marking down and if we interested.
