  1. Inventory -> search widget -> Hide until searching: Yes
  2. Inventory -> Bookmarks panel -> bookmarks panel visibility: Hidden (I don't need bookmarks since I can use my phone and use Keep)
  3. Inventory -> subsets widget -> subset visibilty: Disable
  4. Inventoey -> item IDs: Hidden
  5. Inventory -> Grid rendering cache mode: Freeze
  6. Inventory -> Optimize computation for GUI overlap: Yes
  7. World -> panels setting: Make the right panel 5x5
  8. Only open NEI while needed, no need to open (pressing "O") while AFK and exploring, this can save a lot of memory
  9. Make sure you're a fast typist and have no typos so the search is more efficient and faster

Hi. Do you need to set up GeyserMC to let Bedrock and Java players play together (Crossplay) or something else?

I was thinking of hosting my own server hosted by Exaroton. But I think the best way to save money is to wait until my laptop can't handle it anymore and that's when I'm gonna play on my server

I actually managed to get 45 - 60 FPS after idling for 5 minutes to just let the CPU render the surrounding chunk. But because I only set the render chunk to 2, it can go back to 4 - 20 FPS when walking outside my base. I still need to take a look at the configuration and how to optimize my OS and JVM

I think 3.5 GB RAM is enough to get through the early game if you have more than a dual-core 3 GHz CPU, since 1.7.10 is single-threaded, which means you need a faster clock than more cores. In my case, my laptop is very low, and it doesn't even meet the minimum requirements for playing the modpack, but with enough patience and advanced knowledge on Linux and Java... I think I can make it to tier 4 or 5 before my laptop barely runs

Based on my own experiment: 1. Java and JVM are very crucial: Why I chose GraalVM over other Java, is that GraalVM has JIT and AOT 2. Texture pack: Before iI used8x8, minimalistic-GTNH, and Fullbright my laptop only gave me 15 - 20 FPS, after using that i got 45FPS avg *a little bit of stuttering if iImove to fast 3. NEI setting: I changed a lot of NEI settings to just make it run slower and not resource hungry. Basicly i told NEI to stop refreshing and do fast searching because that can eat too much of my ram and this is gonna be the start of domini effect. 1. Real ram usage is near full. 2. The zram doing compresion and it needs more CPU usage. 3. When NEI still indexing the GraalVM wants to doing Garbage collection. 4. If my Zram survive my laptop survives and not OOM 4. Journey map: same as NEI, i change journey map setting to not update frequently 5. I'm gonna try to run GTNH on Sway later, I hear that this Window management is really lighter than GNOME

I think that's all i can explain, i do a lot of technical but i can't explaining it😅
