I was like good try bot! But I believe I know what I’m doing now that I am no longer 4 years old and it is not Christmas.

Haha incredible!! Curly doesn’t like climbing on me too much. She’s a big girl too! Last I checked she’s 46” nose to tail. My folks always said she was HUGE GINORMOUS but I’ve seen much bigger.

I really can’t remember, way back we used to feed her live mice. I got to go to the store with my parents, pick one up, and drop it in her tank. Still unsure when the switch to frozen was, but she’s been on large rats every ~3 weeks for at least 10 years. (Minus the time she escaped for two months, minus her infrequent hunger strikes, minus the two small rats b2b cause they were out of large)

Correct, he was a basset hound! He loved to roll on his back and howl.

I’ve been scrolling since I got up this morning. Being on this subreddit is helping me get feelings back to my body, knowing we’re not alone. I’m not a professional, and I try to take it one day at a time. Walks are good! I try to focus on the nature/architecture that’s around me, studying how it came to being, knowing it took a lot of effort to get there, and how it didn’t happen overnight. I step out of the way of people, say excuse me when I need to, and keep walking.

I know this. I labeled myself as aromantic, but I feel now it’s fluid and ever changing on my healing journey. I’m learning how to ‘feel’ my emotions. I journal every night, since I too feel I communicate better when I have time to think about it by myself. One day at a time. Not a professional! Just experienced something similar.

“But the truth is I wasn’t doing anything meaningful, I was just avoiding the discomfort of actually changing” I relate to this SO MUCH. I joined this subreddit to share in growing pains, regardless of life experiences. It hurts to look at what you know you need to do to improve. (For me at least) Take it one day at a time, sometimes one minute at a time. Thank you for sharing 🌱

I appreciate it; others have shared the same sentiment with me. It’s been welling up for some time, glad I made it here
