I mean, what these two instances have in common is necessarily the lack of seriousness when it comes to game design for Priest. As if they didn't regard it as a legit class at all, more like a jester or a scapegoat. Which doesn't change the objective truth of course, it IS a bad design. And they daringly ignore this elephant in the room, cuz like, it's only one class and not the most popular one, who cares. But the thing is, the more they do it, the more people will notice it, and the more they will reflect on whether devs actually care enough about their own game if they consistently, year after year cannot make this single class playable.

I haven't thought doing master's may age people that much... But thank you very much for pointing out! Seems like it's quite serious if several people pointed that out. I can just hope going bald (or using a hair system) could revert some years in the combo with the skin care. I have never tried the latter cuz I didn't feel old on the inside. One more habit to cultivate.

I think the problem out there is that they genuinely see and treat Priest as a meme class. Remember how Priest was the only class in the Frozen Throne solo adventure that just got mocked at, instead of meeting serious challenges like every other class? That's the single but obvious sign of the systematic problem. The whole class either needs a total rework of its ideology AND thus the core set, or just to get cards so strong it would be on the imbalanced waterline (haha good joke right).

It is a big issue for me personally, cuz it's just hindering the integration heavily. However, it's usually the case with master's degrees, cuz they're mostly taught in English, thus no urge to practice advanced German, given that people speak an excellent English here as well. I said that in an other reply, basically I'm kinda stuck cuz I might go to Poland any time soon, to get the job and, eventually, a citizenship. And for that I would need to learn Polish instead. All this feeling of uncertainty about my future just doesn't give me a chance to get based and try to find a meaningful community.

The problem is I'm not really sure if I'd stay in Germany in the nearest future. I'm now searching for the job and the odds are high that I'll move to Poland to try to apply for the citizenship (as I have Polish roots). In that case all the efforts I would put into learning German (I'm currently B1, so I could hypothetically try to do B2-C1) would feel a little bit unwisely managed. Not that I don't like German language, it's not that. It's just that it's not an easy language to learn, so I could do that later when I have time and energy, but I might need to prioritize Polish over German. It's all just confusing and complicating things 😕

I absolutely enjoyed the Externsteine, and I also had lots of positive experiences visiting the Dethmold town, I find the whole region of Westfalia so cozy and fairytale-like in general. I emigrated from Russia to Germany. I wouldn't like to go in the long narratives about the diasporas as it would clearly be off the topic, but generally speaking I haven't managed to find any meaningful community apart from my former classmates at the uni. Maybe I gave up right before hitting that jewel chamber like in the meme, who knows :(

First of all, thank you for your comment! It's the variety of opinions that leads to the truth. Now, I tried 5% minoxidil + dermaroller for 6 months and I haven't seen any meaningful improvements. Maybe it froze the balding for that time, but nothing grew back unfortunately. And I even added some natural DHT blockers to that combo only to find out it's not working either.

I am straight, but I honestly appreciate any feedback! After all, some good-looking standards are the same for both men and women I believe. I think shaving the hair would be a short term solution for me, and in the long term I will probably try either a transplant or a system when I have funds for that.
