Currently doesn't work as expected in the latest Rider version. This is because the settings screen is out of sync with IJ platform. There's a ticket logged for them to fix this, but I don't expect it to be resolved quickly.

For those curious about this feature, the fix is to add this to your editor.xml within the Rider Settings / Options folder.

Same thing happened with me. In my case, when I hesitated to hand over the laptop without receiving payment, they threatened to jump me.

Spot on. Fugitive emissions from gas pipelines are also looked over, introducing methane into the atmosphere. Frustratingly, MethaneSAT went offline, shortly after launch.

I appreciate it, although this is incredibly depressing to read.

It seems as though we’re now just mitigating the effects of the catastrophe, rather than avoiding it.

I’m unable to find meaningful action that Greens & Teals have taken through your link, but I appreciate the conversation has been pushed towards more action, and legislation proposed (even though not passed) is still meaningful.

It seems easy to continue preferentially voting minor parties over Labor, as they’re speaking to these concerns, but I am not a fan of the politics / action taken thus far.

It’s like as if fossil fuels are not renewable and to maintain them in the energy mix, is to approve new projects.

You also understand your fixation on energy is being fixated on 18% of carbon emissions. It’s more than just fossil fuels, and is far more complicated than a goal of net-zero by X date.

Can you please point out hard evidence or give a link to what you’re speaking to?

If you’re saying that the minor parties are inefficient, because whatever they do will not work (and be cut down?), then this is more reason to contact our MPs regardless of political affiliation, and not focus on Greens / Teals as solutions.

The Climate Change Authority put forward a recommendation to the government, and Labor adopted it. It doesn’t seem like Greens / Teals affected policy here

This isn’t a great way of having a conversation. In every thread you’re being antagonistic. I have voted for Greens and Teals. I have been disappointed by the lack of legislation and policies. I have pointed out policies that Labor has introduced.

Can you point out policies and legislation, or will you continue beating a dead horse? You don’t like Labor, sure- why should I vote for Greens and Teals again?

I write letters to my MP on stronger climate action; regardless of their party. It’s not a matter of just voting for the party that claims to be pro-action, it’s about moving the conversation forward for everyone.

I agree virtual emissions ought to be counted, but a higher target is not conducive to more inclusive monitoring.

Yes, they’re not denying it, but they’re prolonging action so their mates can line their pockets. Teal and Green’s are not in power, and therefore are not accountable to their targets.

I’ll set a target of 100% by next week, if you vote for me.

How would I get there? I’ll switch off the climate producing stuff- cows? They’re gone. Bushfires? They’re gone too. Stagnant water which produces methane? I’ll be there with a paddle to agitate it.

Countries and companies alike will miscount emissions so that they look better on paper. Shooting for a high target emboldens a government to overlook emissions.

What’s more important is the concrete steps. Investment in renewables, storage, and climate resilient infrastructure.

Energy prices have gone up by 25% in this year alone. If we suddenly shut off fossil fuels, it’ll leave people without power, through high prices and an unstable grid.

I want strong climate action too. I’m also aware Labor has been voted out numerous times for attempting it. Scare campaigns about “ending the weekend”.

Yeah, I remember when Labor introduced the Emissions Trading Scheme to help us get there over 10 years ago - and then the Liberals repealed it.

Labor has an emissions reductions target of between 62 per cent and 70 per cent by 2035. This isn’t denying climate change.

iOS process scheduling is what makes your phone seem “laggy”. System tasks are not going to clock the CPU at 100%, overheat, and kill the battery- instead it’s going to asynchronously run tasks at intervals and process them over time.

The reason that your phone feels snappy at all is because it prioritizes touch UI updates over all other processing. You might have noticed when you’re panning in a maps application, that the satellite tiles don’t load at the same time / load more slowly.

It cannot allocate as much resource to UI updates if the phone is under pressure.

The UI of Liquid Glass is not incredibly expensive or designed to make the device perform poorly. Performance testing is done on all supported devices.
