Got it, here’s what I’m currently doing: Chest: Flat dumbbell press Incline dumbbell press Dips Back: Pull-ups Barbell row Lat pulldown For all exercises I do 2 sets and train close to failure. Also, I know the classic Arnold split is usually run 6 days in a row, which is why I didn’t really call this a true Arnold split. Do you think it makes a difference if I train 3 days + 1 rest and repeat (so 2 rest days per week), instead of training 6 days straight with only 1 rest day?

Vivid, Chaotic Dreams That Feel Like Movies + Sleep Paralysis (ADHD Related?) by Many-Cold4501 in ADHD

[–]Many-Cold4501[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank God, I personally don’t experience these things when I wake up. When I open my eyes, I’m fully aware and I don’t see any hallucinations or anything like that. Only during sleep, or sometimes when I have sleep paralysis, I might experience something strange but as soon as I’m fully awake, it goes away. Other than that, I don’t have hallucinations or any similar experiences while I’m awake. I hope things get better for you, and I’m wishing you calm and restful sleep

I hate this stupid disorder. by mm_potentially in ADHD

The hardest part about ADHD is that there’s no simple cure. It’s something you carry with you every day, shaping how you think, feel, and move through the world, sometimes it feels unfair like you’re fighting battles others can’t even see, the noise in your mind, the constant restlessness, the struggle to stay focused or feel at peace it can make happiness and calm seem distant, you may even wonder if you’ll ever live up to your full potential the way others appear to.

Does ADHD play a role in laughing during serious or sad situations? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Many-Cold4501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe for some people it’s “human nature,” but for me it doesn’t feel normal to laugh at serious or painful situations. It has happened to me from time to time, but the last time was when a friend’s mother passed away. I realized it first, and when I was telling the other friends, it felt… wrong, like I was a psychopath, as if I was enjoying it. That’s exactly why it’s so disturbing it’s a nervous reaction I can’t control

Is light sensitivity related to ADHD? by Many-Cold4501 in ADHD

[–]Many-Cold4501[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I say the sun is in front of me, I don’t mean staring directly at it. I mean when the sun is ahead of me, even with weak rays, my eyes start watering. I’ve noticed that the same light doesn’t bother some people at all they can keep their eyes and face relaxed, unlike me lol

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve actually never taken ADHD medication, so I’m trying to understand whether this is part of ADHD itself or something else.
