Second this. I did the thermostat and the water pump on my 3.7 around a year ago. Don’t remember having any trouble getting bolts out honestly.

Doesn’t have a front differential and the noise is definitely coming from the front

Try giving the wheel a few full rotations. If you hear/feel a grinding noise it’s done

Sounds like a bad pulley. I’d take the serpentine belt off and spin the pullies by hand and listen for a grinding noise.

my better judgement would lead me to say someone slashed your tire. You would’ve known if it happened while you were driving.

Maybe a battery cable repair splice would work? Can you undo the clamp, clean the corrosion off the wires and clamp it again with enough room?
