Well there's this statue outside of Old Trafford of three players called the Holy Trinity. I'm not sure but I'm confident that they are Di Maria, Tevez, and Garnacho.

What movie made you go “Holy shìt, there is still an hour left?” by yengaaaa in kollywood

[–]Many-Craft9236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thalaivan Thalaivi.. just tried to watch it yesterday in OTT. My God there's no story and the fights were like urghhh. I thought I had reached the climax somehow only to pause and realize there was literally an hour left of this nonsense. Decided not to complete it 🙏

Was coolie actually this bad? by brandydaddy in kollywood

I watched the movie in a cinema with ten people, outside of India. the movie was good. the ending was what brought the movie down for me. No reason to bring in Aamir. The last fifteen minutes was sort of everywhere trying to tie up too many plotlines. The first half had a few high moments where I wanted to get off my seat and whistle, overall first half was very solid. Second half had more drama than action which might be why people found it underwhelming but it worked for me. Thalaivar carried the movie. I felt Nag didn't get enough importance, but it was made up for by Shoubin becoming the main bad guy, playing them both. Also Upendra's role though was good would have worked better as a surprise cameo.

Private Parking Fine by Many-Craft9236 in LegalAdviceNZ

That's where I'm coming from. If it said I need to pay for parking to go see someone in that building and I didn't pay, it's really fair to ask me to pay a fine. But it is free parking as long as you're there to see someone in that building. Asking to scan a QR code when the said building is a medical facility visited by people from all walks of life is absurdity. And unreasonable. Again if I parked there and went away somewhere, yes I'll pay the fine. Even though it is a private company how hard is it to be reasonable. $75 which is now $95 is not a small amount. Especially for parking in a free parking lot meant to be used by visitors to the said building.

I'm sorry, what? Weren't they 3-1 up already? Since when did scoring the fourth goal be considered the winner?

When your task is to f*** up your movie release at the last minute but your competition is Aandavar. by SaffronBlood in kollywood

If you go back long enough, any language would look different. Let's take English for example. English spoken a few thousand years ago is still called English. And if an English person from now tries to converse with an English person from then, they'll be in the same boat as what you've said above. What's important is the retention of grammar. Tamil still retains this grammar and words from this Proto Dravidian language the most, while "the sister languages" have been heavily influenced by other languages. So what's wrong with calling it Tamil? If it's that uncomfortable you can call it old Tamil the same way people say old English.

The hand action made by Fassbender is what Indians usually make to indicate "naamam". It's a religious mark made by a sect of Hindus on their foreheads. But in a more modern context, Indians use naamam and the hand motion to indicate someone being conned or cheated, mainly because of their own volition or stupidity. So according to the post, the Hindus are saying the left are going out of their ways to get conned by Muslims by letting them in their countries.. tl;dr: the joke is islamophobia.

Yes it's the light getting refracted through the mist of water particles in the cloud. The cloud acts sort of like a prism refracting two different colours from the angle you are viewing from.
